Spray-In Bed Liners
Spray-In Bed Liner Installation in San Diego
X-Treme Truck Outfitters installs spray-in bed liners at our Kearny Mesa shop in San Diego. A spray-in liner bonds permanently to the bed, so it will not shift, trap grit, or rattle the way a drop-in liner can.

Spray-In vs. Drop-In Bed Liners
A spray-in liner is applied directly to the bed and bonds to the metal, sealing it against water and rust. A drop-in liner is a moulded plastic insert that sits in the bed and can be removed. Drop-ins cost less up front; spray-ins do not trap moisture or debris underneath, which is what causes hidden rust.
The Installation Process
The bed is cleaned, sanded, and masked before the liner is sprayed, then left to cure before the truck goes back on the road. Call (858) 279-0240 for current turnaround and to schedule.
Coverage Options
Bed floor and walls, over-rail or under-rail coverage, and tailgate coverage. We will walk you through the options for your truck when you come in.
Common Questions
- How much does a spray-in bed liner cost in San Diego?
- Pricing depends on your truck’s bed length and how much coverage you want. Call (858) 279-0240 for a free estimate on your exact vehicle.
- How long does a spray-in bed liner take to install?
- The liner needs time to cure after spraying, so plan on leaving the truck with us. Call (858) 279-0240 and we will give you a realistic turnaround for your truck.
- Is a spray-in bed liner better than a drop-in?
- A spray-in liner bonds to the bed and seals it, so water and grit cannot get underneath and cause rust. A drop-in is removable and cheaper up front, but debris trapped beneath it can wear through the paint over time.
